Zion hasn't been out and about much lately. On the last day of September Zion was out with his carer walking on New Brighton Beach. Out of nowhere a ball came flying towards them both, followed by a very excited dog chasing the ball.
The dog ran into Zion and they both got tangled up together. Zion fell badly and awkwardly and as he would say, ‘It was not good’.
Our brave Zion broke his tibia on his right leg.
Surgery was required and he had to get a metal plate put in his leg. In the beginning our brave Zion was in a lot of pain. He has been home now for four weeks and his recovery and healing has been amazing.
It’s going to be a long road to healing and require lots of physiotherapy for full recovery, but Zion is doing really well. He is sketching, drawing and painting in bed and will soon be able to sit in his wheelchair at the easel.
He has been so accepting of his situation and as always takes everything on with a smile and Zion's peaceful way. Our Zion has been a true warrior spirit and will have a great looking scar when all is healed up. We greatly appreciate your love and support for Zion at this time. Purchasing his paintings and contributing to a Gofundme Campaign to help with special bed and wheelchair hire.
Zion is available for commissions and he loves doing portraits.
Have you thought about Christmas presents yet?
Zion has some beautiful cards with his artworks for sale here on his website also.
His healing continues with lots of love, care, support, art and rainbows.
