Out and about sipping lemon, lime and bitters, whilst sketching Oca, Zion had a great week this week. His exercise regime is really paying off with his trek up the walking trail and of course this tired him out for the day. Farmers market, donating to the musos and admiring beautiful hanging flowers all made for a happy time.
Zion attended his usual Wednesday drama class on cue in Brunswick Heads, where he practiced his role in the all-abilities play scheduled for the end of the year. He did a great job, remembering all his parts. The class is always a lot of fun, and Zion, along with his peers and their support workers, all contribute to the engaging and interactive experience. After drama, Zion celebrated the birthday of his long-time friend Max, spending the afternoon partying with both old and new friends.
This morning, Zion enjoyed his usual decaf cappuccino at Lulu's and caught up with some friends. He was invited to visit the Paddock project, which features the iconic LOVE sign—a potential subject for a future painting. Zion also stopped by the Mullum Wash house, where he helped the owners, Mark and Kunda, fold towels, which he found enjoyable. Later, he returned to the studio to continue working on a family portrait in Paradise.
