Happiness

by Story Teller | Oct 3, 2024 | Out and About

It was a week full of happiness which got off to a great start with a coffee at the Mooball Cafe, then off to Wooyung Beach for a picnic, watching the kite surfers and astonishment at the severe erosion that has occurred with recent storms. Coolamon Scenic Lookout was a great place for visit.

Drama group was cancelled due to school holidays, but that didn't dampen the spirit of the troupe. They met up in Brunswick Heads to play Pictionary instead for a fun and inclusive game with everyone participating. After spending the day playing, laughing, singing songs, enjoying each other's company, learning new skills and connecting with the community, we strolled through town, where we noticed the setup for the Brunswick Heads Sculpture Festival.

On Thursday, Zion headed to Mullumbimby for coffee and unexpectedly ran into his artist friend and former tutor, Daniel Held, who now lives in Tasmania. Dan was delighted to hear that Zion still applies a highlighting technique he learned from him. Zion also caught up with friends, exchanging hugs and greetings. In a funny moment, Zion took a brief nap, and his friends, David and Guy, joined him, amusing passersby who smiled at the scene.
